School goes Banksy

On January 24, 2025, classes FoS 12Sb and BoS 12ST were eager to experience the exhibition of one of the most influential artists in Munich. It shall be the most comprehensive show of his art in entire Europe. His name is Banksy -well at least his pseudonym. His works revolutionized thinking and conceptions about the world. Up to 150 motifs by the celebrated artist have been presented in seven countries and 24 cities since March 2021. All students understood it is a glorious delight to get to know Banksy’s art style and critical point of view. By using parallelism he made his criticism clear using different forms of street art such as site-specific, sculptural, stencils and free-hand. Before, while and even after personal knowledge the joy and delight weren’t missing. Many thoughts and expressions were allocated in every little moment and are recalled with a bright smile. Giggling filled the journey and made it clear that it has been splendid. Every single student, the bus driver and the two excellent teachers went home with laughter and gaiety!
